Angles

We are currently learning how to use protractors to measure angles. Most of us have learnt the names and characteristics of different angles which helps us know if we have measured our angle correctly. These links take you to sites where you are able to use a protractor to measure different angles. Make sure you have a try and perfect your protractor skills.

Creating a brilliant brainstorm

In class we are working on our writing skills. Before we can start writing however we need to work on our planning as when you have brilliant planning it makes it a lot easier to create brilliant writing. First we came up with how to create a brilliant brainstorm and then we used the success criteria on a class example and annotated it out. Now we should be ready to get stuck into our explanation writing.

Camp Epworth

Room 2 spent a week at Camp Epworth spending time on many exciting activities. As well as watersliding, rock climbing, kayaking and making rafts we got to know our class mates and fellow Year 7/8s a lot better. Now we will settle back down into class life and work hard on our school work. Watch our video to see what we got up to.
